Sylvia Seegrist is a convicted American mass murderer who committed a shooting spree at a Pennsylvania shopping mall in 1985. She opened fire at the Springfield Mall in Delaware County, killing three people and injuring seven others before being subdued by police.
Seegrist, who had a history of mental illness and had been previously diagnosed with schizophrenia, was found guilty of three counts of murder and multiple counts of attempted murder. She was sentenced to three consecutive life terms in prison.
